-grad school applications, it opened my eyes and pushed me to think more about technical aspects and also ~public relations~~~ with professors and the like!!! Since I really had to stretch and ask various people for their support both directly and indirectly! (some of you are here and probably reading this, so thanks!)
-how do you write a letter of intent??? I still don't know. but I wrote...SOMETHING
-a very busy year that left me a little out of my depth with socialising
memorable parts of the year
Making an art twitter was one of the best 3 am decisions I've made all year, I met so many people I'm glad to call friends now. Of course there are people that I've met and now no longer talk to, but I'm glad to have impacted their lives (and had them impact mine!) in any small way. Joining SASO also happened because of twitter and I'm glad to have met so many people that love my OTP.......thank you ushioi timeline...
I got hideously sick this year in January because I thought it was a brilliant idea to cosplay in shorts??? In January?? IN CANADA???? ? ? ? ? Good job self. In any case, I was sick for a month. I was the sickest I've been in about a decade. It had the side effect of making me seem like a shy quiet girl at my co-op because I couldn't talk for the first month aHaHAHAHAHahHA ha. I also started playing in a volleyball league.
Sakura con was also a lot of good memories! Fire Emblem cosplays for days. AND SEWING KAMUI IN A FRANTIC MONTH RIGHT AFTER DESIGNS CAME OUT and we only had 3 tiny references lmfao I love dying.
Well in case you haven't noticed, about 85% of memorable parts of the year is related to cosplay or anime because I'm a giant weeb. I wish I could be more sorry about this.
I also talked myself into the most revealing cosplay I've ever made and worn which is Something. Thanks Fire Emblem for ruining my life again (as usual) BUT HONESTLY??? No regrets because Ophelia is still the cutest....my cute daughter...
My top 3 favorite cosplays of this year are Ophelia, Miu Hinasaki, Qiu tong
I really like Kamui, Alisha Diphda, and Cai wenji too BUT MAN they were also top most uncomfortable cosplays as well!!!! (Oikawa cosplay is...somewhere....there........)
But speaking of Oikawa cosplay. That means I should post this.
I can't believe someone saw print outs of these Oikawa selfies and thought I was a celebrity, I'M STILL SO CHOKED.

I also didn't expect to adopt a 6'2, oblivious cow as my son. But here we are......I'm hitting the bottom....
But speaking of, it was definitely really funny that time amy and I unintentionally matched each other. (photo for is mostly for QM if YOU SEE THIS QM!!!)
Memorable is also Meow and I spending a week at her apartment studying before the mt and final for our physiology class....that was Something.

-I'm worried what I will do if I DO get into grad school. There are lots of things to nitpick about....I feel like I have a decent chance of getting in...!! BUT I don't want to jinx myself
-I really want to relearn French!!
-I'm tabling at american cons, that will be a learning curve ;w;
-I'M GONNA FINISH MY UNDERGRAD!!!!! !! I'M FREE (to go to grad school ahah I love to suffer)
-my secret resolution is to get published in a paper for my honours study BUT HONESTLY that is a 0.1% chance because of how niche my research topic is.....also I don't have much control over my research topic, whoops
